Every year, deserving high school graduates in our community face a critical crossroads. Some have the grades and dreams but not the financial means to pursue them. That’s where we come in.
The Kiwanis Club of Carefree Benefit Foundation exists to remove barriers and unlock potential. Through the Kiwanis Marketplace—our community thrift store—and the dedication of our volunteers, donors and community partners, we’re awarding $550,000 in scholarships this year alone and have invested over $11 million in our community to date.
But the real story isn’t about our numbers. It’s about the students we’ve empowered—and the privilege of removing barriers so they can chase their dreams. It’s about first-generation college students walking across the stage at A Night of Excellence. It’s about young leaders returning to strengthen the very communities that believed in them.
